The Scoraig peninsula, home for the last eight years. This area along with dundonnell ,a mile across the loch is the home to some of the most interesting of Brittish wildlife including Otters,Golden Eagles,Red Squirrels,Red Deer.Pine martins and Sea Eagles. This years project will start with photographing the local Otter family’s. The equipment i will be using will be a canon eos 1Ds II with a canon 600mm f4 lens ,this will allow me to get close up shots of the otters without disturbing them. Otters have a very good sense of smell  and when out of the water acute hearing, they dive for about 30 seconds during which you can move camera position without being spotted. While they are feeding on the shore it is best to stay as still and quiet as possible. b1ogScora
